ABSA AR - Augmented Reality Product Visualization and Event Experiences
ABSA AR is an augmented reality application designed to transform the way users interact with ABSA family products. It allows you to view products in real size, superimposing visual and textual information on the user's physical environment. In addition, the app includes personalized experiences developed for events and fairs, combining fun and relevant information to create meaningful connections between the audience and the brands. Its objective is to promote greater engagement and retention of users, offering an innovative tool that facilitates learning, interaction and participation in both commercial and educational environments.
Scope of Work:
1. Conceptualization and Planning:
- Collaborated with stakeholders to define the app's primary goals:
- Product Visualization: Allow users to view and interact with ABSA family products in AR at real size, with overlaid text and visual information.
- Event Experiences: Develop customized AR experiences for events and innovation fairs to engage attendees and showcase ABSA's innovative solutions.
- Conducted research on AR technologies (ARKit for iOS and ARCore for Android) to ensure a seamless and scalable experience.
- Defined user flows for both product visualization and event-specific experiences.
2. Design and Prototyping:
- Designed a user-friendly interface (UX Design) with figma, that adapts to both product visualization and event modes.

- Product Visualization: Users can place 3D models of ABSA products in their environment, view detailed information, and interact with them.

- Iterated on designs based on feedback from stakeholders and usability testing.
3. Development and Integration:
- Developed the app using Unity3D and C#, leveraging Vuforia Engine, ARFoundation, ARKit for iOS and ARCore for Android to enable AR functionalities.

- AR Product Visualization: Users can view ABSA products in real size, with overlaid text and visual information.
- Interactive Experiences: Custom AR experiences for events, such as virtual product demos, interactive games, and immersive tours.
- Multiplatform Support: Optimized the app for both iOS and Android devices.
- Integrated backend services to manage product data and event-specific content.
4. Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Conducted extensive testing across multiple devices to ensure compatibility and performance.
- Tested AR functionalities in various environments to validate accuracy and reliability.
- Gathered feedback from beta testers and event attendees to refine the app's features and usability.
5. Deployment and Maintenance:
- Successfully deployed the app to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, adhering to platform-specific guidelines.
- Provided post-launch support, including bug fixes and updates to ensure compatibility with new device models and OS versions.
- Monitored user feedback and analytics to identify areas for improvement and future enhancements.
